A Colonial Home in an inner city suburb of Brisbane underwent a large renovation. The original house was constructed in 1907. After extensive building work that was sympathetic to the original architecture of the early 20th Century home, and incorporated modern day conveniences that are necessary for todays lifestyle. The Kitchen was a major focus of the interior design plan for project and reflected the love of cooking of the owners. A large walk in Butlers Pantry with walk in cold room, wine fridges and extensive storage was created. Double ovens side by side, large slabs of black granite, concealed fridges and freezer were integrated into the cabinet work. A central island bench is not only a place for work, but a focal point to gather. The Kitchen opens up onto open plan living and outdoor spaces that capture the City Skyline in the near distance.
